• Store in a cool, dry place; stuff lightly to help maintain shape.

What to Avoid

• Machine washing or soaking in water — it can weaken seams and coatings.
• Prolonged sun exposure, which can fade colours and damage fibres.
• Harsh chemicals or solvents that may remove the protective finish.

Waterproofing & Reproofing

Fjord fabrics are water-resistant, not submersible. Over time, repellency can reduce with wear and dirt.

• Clean first — dirt reduces water beading.
• Apply a PFAS-free spray-on repellent evenly; allow to dry fully.
• Test on a small hidden area before applying across the full surface.

Storage & Longevity

• Store in a cool, dry environment away from direct sunlight.
• Stuff lightly with paper or a clean t-shirt to maintain structure.
• Avoid stacking heavy items on top for prolonged periods.

Repairs & Spare Parts

Small fixes can add years of use. We support repair over replacement wherever possible.

• Common parts: zipper pulls, buckles, straps, and clips (subject to availability).
• DIY-friendly fixes include zipper pull swaps and strap re-threading.
• For complex repairs, contact us for recommended partners.

Warranty

Your Fjord gear is built to last. If a manufacturing defect appears under normal use, we’ll make it right.

• Coverage: manufacturing defects in materials or workmanship.
• Excludes: normal wear, misuse, accidents, or unauthorised modifications.
• Valid for 1 year from purchase. Contact us with photos and order details for assessment.
